It was the first day of CNY and we were over at Moo's to visit, collect ang pows and gamble. oh well. With Moo's mum! This picture was taken moments after we arrived and I must say that I think my dear sqmates are growing prettier by the day. Frankly, my jaw dropped when Moo walked into my place earlier that evening. Ok, but I digress. Basically, ALL of us lost. To Mother Moo. Who was the banker. For 3 solid hours of Blackjack. Had to resort to opening our day's collection of Ang Pows to pay lah. Funny. But despite losing, I'm sure all would agree that we had a ball of a time with loads of tummy-aching/tear-inducing laughter.

1. refused to answer/open the bloody door cuz she was eating lunch, by herself if I may add, in her room;
2. can't be bothered to print her signature on a simple, although late, topic-change document; and
3. (the winner of it all) refused (at the VERY LAST MINUTE) to sign and give her approval to the students under her to hand in their dissertations, thereby FORCING them to incur a 5 marks penalty.

Can you imagine? Rushing like hell to finish your work, which you have slogged over for the past few months, so as to hand it in on time, only to be told by your ***** of a supervisor that there's no way that she's going to sign it cuz she haven't seen a full draft yet. And she had so conveniently forgot to mention this little nugget of information in the days leading up to the dreaded dissertation deadline. What the hell lah.

And it gets even better. 3 of the students under her, whom she has probably blacklisted after Friday, are in the same tutorial presentation group. For her tutorial. I can so imagine fireworks during the Q & A session. Not the good kind either.

sigh. Damn poor thing lah, L and X. But nvm, 2 more weeks to make your dissertation swee swee. Jia you jia you.. 2 more weeks...

Far from being a random mix of numbers and the dreaded deadline for the big D, 15th Feb is also my Beijing atapchi's birthday. Yeah, that's right - the one and only Hobbit-pork-Chen. This post is kinda belated, but nevertheless, a very happy birthday to atapchi one. Hope you enjoyed yoursef on your special day! Although 23 is a tad bit OLD, but it's still a nice number lah. Well, erm, it's the number of Jordan, Beckham, ... point being, it's not that bad lah. Just one year OLDER ma. =p
