2 out of 3 papers down as of 1730hours today.
Kinda disappointed with myself today. Why? Cuz Canals came out for Measurements, yet I didn't manage to complete the calculations, despite having revised the topic less than 24hours earlier. I KNOW how to do it. But I don't know why I took ages with Question 1 and even made such a fundemental mistake of not reading the specifications before jumping headlong into the question proper. As a result, I had to backtrack and make changes more than once as the clock ticked away.
sigh.
But everything is over and done. Can only fault myself for being slow and careless.
On a happier note, 6 out of 9 of the gang trooped down to srgn gardens to 'celebrate' the end of the exams for most of us. Well. Except for 3 of us. Managed to catch Aston's during offpeak hours so everyone can have a taste of what I described a couple of posts earlier. Unfortunately for Vinna, the stall's not halal so she could not try, yet had to sit there with 5 people digging into what must have appeared delicious. Vinna, I'm sure we'll find more good food stalls that are halal to try! Headed to Macs after that for ice cream to top off a satisfying meal before everyone split ways.
Marketing tomorrow, and I have yet to start on the remaining 7 chapters. Don't know if I've 'gotten used to' the airport atmosphere or what, but not much motivation to start studying by myself. Without coffee too! Was so drained after Measurements that I K-Oed during ah wang and missed the good bits.
oh well.
Shall aim to start work proper at 11pm, after Healing Hands III. Even though Marketing is my fave of the 3 modules, it just doesn't seem that appealing tonight.
Update soon.

0311hours.
Still pretty early, considering my usual sleeping time.
Had a pretty productive day studying hard. Measurements III is in 11 hours time. Mind's kinda saturated with CESMM3... Piles... Canals... Can't believe how long I took to do the Dolphin Piles tutorial and the RC Canal Phase II example. But the sense of achievement upon completing the Canal example? Priceless.
Derived a couple of 'equations' today:
eq 1) have starbucks = will study
...the T2 starbucks is really a pretty decent place to study. If not for the parking fees and the distance (and of course the fact that I only have ONE more paper left), I'd probably head there more often. Of course, there's the lure of my fave starbucks coffee. ah...
eq 2) have companion = will study
...having study company beats studyin alone, especially in the wee hours of the night and the dreary hours of the afternoon.
combining eq 1 and 2: have starbucks and companion = will study very effectively
...decided to head to T2 starbucks with a friend one fine night out of some spur of the moment decision to make the late night more productive. Seemed like a pretty good idea now. Although it's a shame that I only discovered this so late, but hey, better late than never right?
Shall end of this post with a shoutout to my fellow late-night-coffee-drinkin study companion, who actually made me worried about Measurements and 'inspired' me to do the RC Canals tutorial all over again. haha. Appreciate it loads.
