
There were the Erdinger drinkers - 3 tall glasses which towered over the rest, least of all the short stubby Heineken which was my choice of drink of the night. The other 3 chose cocktails whose names were just as pretty as their drink of choice.
Chattered away in our small groups while waiting for our food to arrive and for the singers of the night to come in. When they finally came, the pizzas did not disappoint and all of us ate heartily. The best of the lot - the roasted duck pizza - took the longest to arrive, but was a firm favourite.
Pamela, the singer of the night, was a little off-form that night, but wowed us all with her rendition of Zhang Hui Mei's “听海”. Fatt was as fantastic as usual, his legs having a life of their own as they tapped away at the percussion set at his feet.

...and NO, I wasn't drunk. See that short stubby glass on the table? It took me the whole of the time we spent at Timbre to finish it. I was sabotaged in this picture by the enormous strength of Xena (a.k.a. Lady Ryce). sigh...
After Timbre, we were still a little high from our drinks and the music, so took some pictures by the river, one of which is this:
